Welcome to Enforcement Training Academy, Enforcement Training Academy is located in central Alberta, in the city of Red Deer, providing training to understanding dog behavior, proactive handling to prevent dog bites, increasing success in animal apprehension, kennel transfers, lessening the aggressive responses of the animal, as well as improving safety for both the dog and the handler. Our enforcement education advances bylaw officer’s confidence in their daily performance duties. We also assist organizations interested in updating or overhauling their existing enforcement structures and systems. We offer our services to Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, British Columbia, and Ontario, Canada.

The day is broken into two sessions (morning and afternoon), and each session will be just over one hour long, allowing lunch and coffee breaks. Each participant will receive a manual of the course, a certificate of completion, and an opportunity to experience some "hands-on" training. This course will give attendees greater ability and confidence in:

Apprehending and handling stray dogs
Remaining safe at all times
Apprehension without undue reliance on extreme measures
Dealing with the public in high stress situations
Handling an injured dog assessment and transporting
Responding/defending a full-fledged dog attack
